Ingredients

2lb russet potatoes, peeled, cut in 1-inch cubes (about 6-7 cups)
1 (15oz) can Mrs. Grimes® Navy Beans or Mrs. Grimes® Great Northern Beans (drained, rinsed)
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 tablespoons chopped chives

Preparation:

In large saucepan, cover potatoes with cold water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer 15 to 20 minutes or until fork tender. Meanwhile, in food processor, place beans and 1 tablespoon of the milk. Cover and process 30 seconds or until smooth. In microwaveable measuring cup or bowl, microwave remaining milk 45 seconds on High or until hot. Stir in butter. Drain potatoes and mash with hand masher or electric mixer on low speed until broken up. Add milk and butter, salt and pepper. Mash or beat on medium speed until smooth. Add pureed beans. Mash or beat on low speed until completely mixed. Top with chives.
