1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
3 tablespoons sugar
1 (15.5oz) can Mrs. Grimes® Garbanzo Beans (drained, rinsed)
1/2 small chili (red or green), sliced
1 small clove garlic, sliced
In small saucepan, toast seeds over medium heat 1 to 2 minutes or until fragrant, shaking frequently. Stir in vinegar and sugar. Heat until sugar dissolves. Place beans into 2-cup glass jar, tucking chili slices and garlic along sides of jar. Pour brine over beans; top off with a little water to cover beans. Seal with lid; turn upside down to mix water with brine. Refrigerate at least 24 hours. Store in refrigerator up to 3 weeks.
