1 cup natural wheat and barley tiny cereal nuggets (Grape Nuts)
2/3 cup quick cooking oats
2/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup flaked coconut
3/4 cup chopped dates
3/4 cup raisins
1/2 cup chopped walnuts or almonds
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 (15oz) can Mrs. Grimes® Pinto Beans or Mrs. Grimes® Navy Beans, rinsed, drained, coarsely chopped
1/2 cup honey
3 tablespoons melted butter


Heat oven to 350°F. Line 13×9-inch pan with foil so foil extends over 2 short ends. Generously spray foil with cooking spray. In large bowl, mix all ingredients except honey and butter until well blended. Mix in honey and butter until all ingredients are moistened. Press evenly in pan. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown and bars are firm to the touch. Cool completely, about 45 minutes. Remove bars using foil to lift onto cutting board. Cut 5×4 into bars; remove from foil. Store loosely covered at room temperature.
